It’s fun to upload your photos on Instagram using an iPad, iPhone, Android or a PC! This article will guide you through the steps of uploading your photos to Instagram.

Uploading

Sign in to your Instagram and if you haven't signed up yet then sign up.

Login with your Instagram user ID and password.

Now as you reach the home page, click the navigation button on the bottom right corner of Instagram toolbar.

In navigation page, click the top right icon to get options.

In the options menu, click the "Camera settings" option.

In camera settings, untick the box for "Use Instagram Advanced Camera" and go back or click any tab you want.

Now click the instacam icon in the middle of the bottom taskbar to get "upload picture" options.

Now in the options choose "Photo Gallery" which includes photos kept in your "My Pictures" directory of your PC.

Choose the folder which contains your photo by searching for it by name.

As you choose the folder, click on the photo that you want to upload.

Your photo will appear in Instagram with a crop option.Crop the picture and click "Accept".

Now apply the effects and other options which come after clicking "Accept". After finishing applying effects, click on ">>" icon which is present on the top right corner of Instagram.

Choose appropriate options in the upload menu which includes sharing on websites, geo-tagging and tagging the picture. After choosing options click upload on top right corner of Instagram.

Your photo will appear on main window with a uploading status.

As the upload finishes go to your navigation panel to see your user profile and check your new upload.

Uploading via PC

Firstly you need to have access to Instagram through PC using a software called Bluestacks. To know more on how to how to access Instagram on a Pc read this Open an Instagram Account Through Pc.

Now as you have installed Bluestack on your PC, you can now access instagram on your PC.

Click the Instagram application on Bluestack by clicking all "My applications" and from there on follow the above steps to upload your pictures to Instagram.

Edit Tips

For PC method upload: Add your photos in "My pictures" directory which you want to share but make sure they are in some folder because during navigation only pictures within a folder are visible.
If you want to move the crop window then click inside the crop window and move it using the arrow key buttons on your keyboard or else use mouse.
The above method of uploading is applicable to all platforms.

While sharing photos, you have to sign in to the respective sharing platforms and give permission to allow the share.

You can change the iPhone appearance to windows in PC method by clicking the settings option in Bluestacks and change the appearance mode for Instagram app.
