Anime Skin Winamp

This is actually a newly developed skill that I determined to master in a short time. The reason I choose Winamp as my base of skin is because I use Winamp to hear my audio tune. Simple as that. In order to use the skin provided here, you have to have Winamp version 3 or above. You can get your Winamp by clicking here.

To install the skin on Winamp, after you have downloaded the skin file, just double click on the file and agree on the whole thing that Winamp are spouting about (I’m pretty sure the skin provided here are safe to use as I have tested on my computer myself).

Many of the skin here are based of murderprincess and msdzero from anime-zone.com. So, I humbly thank you for their spectacular design on the first C.C from Code Geass Winamp skin. I for one still not in their league in terms of designing the winamp skin (but I will try my best to overcome my limitation.

One additional note, once you have install your winamp skin, the skin will be copied to the Winamp’s skin folder. If you are installing it in a default option, you can find your installed skin at C:\\Program Files\Winamp\Skins.

License Issue

Winamp is a freeware so you can distribute it freely or use it to your own benefit (Although, you have the option to go Pro which you have to pay a certain amount of money). The Winamp skin that I’ve created are open source. You can distribute it, sell it, or modify it if you want to but it will be nice if you credit me if you use my theme or modify it (Relax, I won’t get mad if you don’t credit me. It’s just a common courtesy and we are decent humans who respect each other, right?).

indratama special note: opposite from kazasou about licence issue, i will curse you if you modify my winamp skins without my permission. [for one winamp skins i need 2-8 days even more to make it, so respect it]. but it free to distribute it. hhehe. thanks.

Requesting For a Custom Winamp Skin

I also accept request for a Winamp Skin, but it will be subjective to my own taste (Hehe, sorry about this). The skin will also be subjective to my preferences. You can help me by sending me a minimal of two pictures of the characters you wanted to be made a Winamp skin of but the resolution must be greater than 1000×1000 pixels. The picture must be clear and not a product of a scan. Please, provide the character in the picture to be clear enough to be masked by me since making the theme requires strict mix and match. I shall create the theme you requested under my own time (no deadlines) since I also have to work and usually very busy. Therefore, please be patient on anticipating it, okay? Oh yeah, you can pester me by sending me a remainder if your request is not granted for more than a week (That’s mean I’ve forgotten, Sorry^^;).

msdzero’s note: If possible, please post a request along with a rough layout design. you can send it via email. If you are able to give a finished layout, we will credit you in the skin and also in the post along with a linkback to your blog or dA profile if any.
